1. Why do I have a higher hot rating than
the top 10 girls or guys?
We count all rates
together and the people with the most get in the Top
Rated Girls/Guys.

2. Why do my rates sometimes drop?
Your rates may drop
due to members deleting their account resulting in all
the rates that they have done being also deleted.

5. Do I need to be a
member to Rate members?
Yes, FaceTheRating
members have option to view who rated them and others
to rate them back, therefore, we prefer out visitors
to register in order to start rating.

6. Why are same sex genders
allowed to rate on each other?
Two reasons: #1
we do not discriminate against anyone's sexual preferences
as to who they would like to contact or rate. #2 we
allow members the ability to rate on any profiles they
wish.

7. What is a (P) Platinum Member?
To review the list
of features a (P) platinum Member receives, visit the
upgrade page once you are logged in as a basic member.
If you already see a (P) beside your username or in
your profile, then you are already a platinum Member!
We do not give away Platinum Memberships, unless we
are running a promotion, in which case you will see
this offer on the homepage.

1. I changed my main photo or additional
photos, but the old pictures keep showing... what's
the problem?
This is because
your Internet browser has them cached. Press CTRL and
F5 to fix the problem. This will refresh the page, and
your new pictures will show. Don't worry though, everyone
is able to see the new pictures, and if they cannot
see them now, their Internet browsers will eventually
cache the new pictures.

profile?
You can change your
main photo by going to the edit picture
page in the account menu section of the website, located
in the right hand column. You would then click on the
browse button, select the new photo from your computer
and submit the photo. Additional photos can be changed
by clicking the 'edit photo' link below your current
additional photos. The photo will then be submitted
to our moderators for review to ensure that it meets
our website policies and procedures, which generally
takes less than 24 hours.

4. Every time I try to join the website,
it is saying that my image is too big or not the
right file type. What am I doing wrong?
All photos on FaceTheRating.com
must be .jpg and it must be under 100k in file size.

5. What types of photos are not acceptable
on FaceTheRating.com?
There are different
criteria for; photos and additional photos. For main photos, the following are
not acceptable ·
Professional photos ·
Cartoons ·
Pictures of your car ·
Pictures of your pets ·
Baby photos ·
Pictures containing nudity or other pornographic content ·
Pictures with copyright or another website written on them
·
Pictures with your email address on them ·
Pictures where your face is not visible and prominent
No nudity, pornographic,
or otherwise offensive images as judged by our moderators,
must contain your face.

No. Once a profile
or username is deleted, it is completely deleted from
our servers.

and click Edit Password. This will
bring you to the edit password form where you can click

just about anything else in your profile, but the username cannot be changed once

stay in your inbox or mailbox for a duration of 30 days. If you do not delete

1. How does the Instant Messages work
on FaceTheRating?
Your instant messages
are put into a queue. As you view different pages on
FaceTheRating, you will receive instant messages in
the order that they were sent to you. Each time you
view a new page, a new instant message will appear.
We did not create our instant message system for carrying
conversations on with members, this is why we have the
Chatroom in place. See Chatroom for more
information.

2. If I receive an instant message when
I'm not logged into my account, what happens?
You will receive
the instant messages that were sent to you when you
were not logged in, as soon as you log in and start
to browse FaceTheRating.

3. I keep getting rude instant messages
from one member How can I prevent this from happening?
If you receive an
instant message from someone that you wish to block,
you can simply click the "Block User" link,
and you will never receive another instant message from
that member again.

of members?
No the chatroom
is only for FTR Platinum members.
The
chatroom will also let you create your own rooms public
/ private, private instant messages, SMILIES and more.

1. I found my picture on this website,
but it's not my profile, how do I get this picture
removed?
The best way to
get this 'faker' kicked off our website is to go to the "Spot The Faker"
section of our forums. Moderators in this part of our forums will evaulate your
case and contact us if you provide them with proof that the picture is not theirs.
The best solution to get a picture removed from another member's profile, is to
take a picture of yourself holding a sign that says "USERNAME is a FAKE!".
"USERNAME" being the username that is using your fake picture. Back to Top

3. Do you allow members
to list their IM name from Yahoo, AOL, MSN, or any other

No we do not allow
that in members profile BUT you can Instant message
members or private chat in the chatroom to let them
know your IM username.
